The “You Can Make a Difference” Foundation was started by Don and Sylvia Shaw, owners of the established DASS Salon and Spa. The Shaws founded the Foundation in memory of their daughter, Donielle Shaw Pressley, who passed away at the age of 33 from melanoma skin cancer. The Foundation works to create awareness of the importance of early detection for melanoma skin cancer and raises funds for cancer research.
